FAQ

Q.        How do I make payment to you?

Payment can be made by Cheque, Debit Card, Credit Card (Except Amex and Diner's Club) or good, old fashioned Cash! If you place an order online and pay by Cheque please allow funds to clear before dispatch of goods. All cheques should be made payable to "Buyfinewine"

Q.        How is my order delivered?

We use a very reliable courier firm who have been delivering fragile goods for years. They operate a Nationwide Delivery Service and are rather good at what they do! In the unlikely event of any breakages, please inform one of the team here as soon as possible. (Don't Panic! We'll replace any broken one's, so please don't cut your tongue on the Glass!)

Q.        How much do you charge for delivery?

Delivery is £8.75 per delivery address, irrespective of quantity, so the more you buy, the more you save!

Q.        Can you deliver outside the UK Mainland?

Yes! We quite often do tastings in Jersey and Guernsey and even in The Isle of Wight! This service does cost more but we are working on bringing this cost down. We are currently looking into Eire and The Isle of Man….so, Watch this space if you live there!
We do not deliver to other countries apart from the UK

Q.        What guarantee of quality do I have?

Apart from our no Quibble Guarantee, you also have the Quality Control of each Individual Country that we source from. This includes AC from France, DOC from Italy etc...Plus, if you insist, we'll have a glass with you!

Q.        I work all day and am only at home in the evening-can you arrange an

We can execute evening or weekend deliveries but these cost considerably more, so we normally try to find a friendly neighbour or relative who can accept delivery. If you live locally to one of our team, they may even be coerced into delivering it themselves! (Normally open to small bribes!)

Q.        Why is there a minimum of 6 bottles for a delivery?

This is down to E.U. Law and Cost!
As a wholesaler we can only legally supply a minimum of
half a case (6 bottles). It would also cost to split cases as we receive them in from the Vineyards in 6's and 12's.
The delivery charge for one single bottle would cost more than the bottle and anyway, when you find a wine you LOVE, will only ordering 6 be enough?

We hope the above answers your immediate Questions. If your question is not listed here please complete the form below. We would Love to hear from you.

Thanks
