Product Description

The bodega is situated in the foothills of the Andes in the Cafayate region around Salta in Northwest Argentina in one of the most scenic regions of this country. The vineyards are planted at 1,700 metres making them the highest commercial sites in the world. Cool climate plays a key part with great variations between night and day time temperatures, slowing down the ripening cycle and ensuring the development of good varietal character. The hallmark of Salta red wines is the great intensity of colour while the white wines, Torrontes in particular, are fresh and appealing.

Michel Torino is well recognised on the international market and is renowned for its excellent wine quality, elegant label design and premium presentation.

Grapes:  100% Estate grown Torrontes organic grapes grown at an altitude of 1,700m above sea level on Michel Torino’s Estate in the Valley of Cafayate

Winemaking: All organic processes used to make this wine.  No oak, fermented in stainless steel.  Alc/vol 13.5%

Colour: Bright green-yellow colour with pale tones and gold sparkle

Taste: Incredible fresh and floral.  Great and kind acidity.  Intense notes of fresh fruits such as peaches and a final floral taste, typical from the grape.
