Grapes for the Prosecco di Conegliano are selected only from hillside vineyards in the DOC area
The grapes for the Prosecco frizzante are sourced from vineyards situated in the Colli Trevigiani.
This area lies outside the DOC zone and therefore the wine can only carry the IGT Colli Trevigiani appellation.
Grapes: 100% Prosecco
Soil: Layers of flaky red soil, limestone marl, and grey-green chalk.
Harvest: End of September/early October
Vinification: In temperature controlled tanks. Second fermentation takes place in tank following the Charmat method
Note: Fizzy wine – 2.4 atmosphers of pressure
Colour: Pale yellow
Serve: Chilled as an aperitif or to be drunk throughout the meal
Taste: Semi-sparkling in style with a fine and fruity bouquet
